HISTORY OF MANGRAE

From our humble beginnings as a fruit and vegetable stand to currently being a chain of stores offering our best-selling fr uit -based shakes, MANGRAE has come a long way since we started in 2014 in General Trias, Cavite.

We, Melvin and Jennefer Grita, started with a string of business ventures, with a fresh fruit and vegetable produce store being one of them. To make better use of the ripened fruits from our store, we also set up another fruit shake cart simply called MJ Fruit Shake.

Over the years, the fruit shake cart has started to get more and more customers. We also became more hands-on and experimental with our recipes, finally. We came up with our signature fruit shakes, known for being thick, creamy, and deliciously flavorful.

In 2018, we established the brand and opened the first MANGRAE store for our fruit shakes, welcoming customers for the first time.

MANGRAE is known for its select line-up of fruit-based shakes, based on popular fruits for Pinoys such as mango, avocado, melon, buko, and banana. We use only fresh fruit, no artificial flavorings or anything to make our sweet creations. We also added tapioca pearls soaked in brown sugar syrup to make our shakes even more delicious.

The fruit shakes were such a hit that not only did they draw in visitors coming from outside of Cavite, but franchise inquiries also started coming in. In 2020, we approved our first franchisee, which was followed by successive store openings due to the success of our first few franchisees.

With our rapid growth since we officially opened in 2018, we decided to further develop our franchise program through Francorp to provide better support for our franchisees and to prepare for an even bigger expansion nationwide.
